Ping's Story

Meet Ping – 20 Years of Stories, from Everest to the World Cup

 

With over 20 years of experience as a licensed English-speaking guide, Ping has traveled to more than three-quarters of 

China's provinces—from the Everest Base Camp in Tibet to the tropical beaches of Hainan, from the snowy forests of 

Jilin to the rice terraces of Yunnan.

 

But her career is defined not just by mileage, but by the people she's guided. She has escorted the family of Sam Raimi

—director of the Spider-Man trilogy—during their Great Wall visit, and provided private guiding for the family of Chris 

Dickens, the Academy Award-winning film editor of The Hurt Locker (2008).

 

In 2023, Ping served as an interpreter guide for the Australian National Men's Football Team during their Beijing match, 

working alongside head coach Graham Arnold and players including Harry Souttar and Mathew Ryan.

 

These experiences taught Ping one philosophy: "Every guest deserves the same white-glove service I gave to Oscar 

winners and World Cup athletes—whether you're a film director or a family on your first China adventure."
